Triennial festivals
Every three years during the second week of September in Montieri is celebrated the “Madonna dei Castagni” with processions and cultural events. The next celebration will take place in 2015.
Festa di Santa Croce
Every three years on the first Sunday of May in Travale you can experience traditional processions through the town and cultural events. The next celebration will take place in 2016.
Viola festival
This peculiar festival was born in Gerfalco and presents evocative concerts of classical music in the most beautiful churces of the municipality. It takes place during September and October and offers seminars for every passionate about classical music and ancient musical instruments.
Travale fair
Every year thousands of visitors flock to the little town to see the wonderful equestrian shows, a livestock show, the markets, local products, reenactment of ancient trades and to fly on a hot-air balloon!
Chestnut festival
Follow us on Facebook (Ufficio Turistico Comune Montieri) 24 and 31/10 . we will celebrate the greatest local product, the chestnut.
Performances
During the year you can enjoy the funny comedies of the three acting companies “Fucina”, “Cuderaio” and “Combriccola”.
